What happened
Crusoe and Boom are no longer moving forward with a plan under which Crusoe would have bought 29 Boom Superpower turbines valued at $1.25 billion. TechCrunch reports that Boom's CEO said turbines are no longer part of Crusoe's near-term primary power mix and that Crusoe confirmed the companies are no longer doing business together.
Why it matters
The change removes Boom's launch customer for its stationary-turbine business and alters a previously announced power-supply plan tied to Crusoe's AI data-center expansion.
Uncertainty
Reported by TechCrunch, which cites Boom's CEO and Crusoe's confirmation; we have not captured a primary statement from either company.
